The lights all work it just says auto lights are de-activated on the trip computer on the dash. I'm a bit useless with things like this??

Just want to know how you put auto-lights back on - it is manual at present.

if they are not working then there is a problem, auto light can only be overridden by turning on the headlights, but not turned off.

On the headlight stalk there is a button at the top. push it in and keep it pressed in for a few seconds. You should hear a beep and Auto lights activated message will appear on display

Their is a control switch where you can turn them off and it shows in the dash somewhere, cant remember how to do it but tall matt at the car rental showed me how, suggest you visit renault dealer in mini skirt and high heels, bend over steering wheel whilst they do it for you,ok it might take 10 mins longer but get them to do it three times so you know how to do it.They are only fellas at the end of the day so use your natural advantage girl.

I need to sync the ecu on my renault megane 2005 estate 1.9 diesel, I have seen a link on here a while back but unable to find it now, could anyone help please and/or post the link for me. Thanks very

Mine did that and it was caused by the release being gummed up. I pressed against the lid while activating the fob. Releasing the pressure allowed it to operate. Failing that, can you open with the key (again, releasing the pressure)? I hope this is helpful.

Megane door won't open from outside

to open door with child lock activated, insert a plastic strip( i used from Milk bottle) from outside where the child lock is. Try to push plastic in such a way the child lock push from closed position to open position. Myself did it in 3 attempts and door was able to open from inside in megane fidji 51 reg.

The headlights do not activate automatically, in the auto mode, at night or with minimal daylight. However the running lights will activate in the auto mode. A new dash light switch was installed without...

The light sensor to control the automatic headlamps is located on the dashboard. This sensor is suppose to activate running and headlamps. I would suspect the problem is a relay to operate the headlamps if the car uses a seperate relay in the automatic mode. I'm assuming the headlamps work in manual on/off. FYI... The auto mode does not control the fog lamps.
