Question about 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan
I just replaced the door lock actuator and the door opens fine with remote and automatic opener buttons located in the van - will not open from interior or exterior using manual door openers - I have tried the child safety lock in both positions.

i'd suggest you just grease the channel top and bottom where the arm slides to hold the door as it's sliding open or closed

sounds like the door sensor switch is malfunctioning and when almost closed it reacts like it is blocked (such and kid in way) and opens for safety. try flushing trach with hose and try again, if not u need a good repair manual such as chiltons($25 most parts stores ) or see mechanic
