CRIME STOPPER REMOTE CAR STARTER POPS TRUNK

the programming has to be erased and reprograme back if you have a remote which is used to open the door it will be replaced and reprogramm

Put a battery charger on the starter solenoid terminal
& a good ground,charge the battery then open trunk
& replace the battery

havent a clue what melted??

Sounds like it wasnt programed right to begin with.if the check engine light is on you could try reset or even if its not on just disconnect battery cable for about 10 to 20 mins then hook back up see if it resets system that way sometimes that works for program faults.if not and u have numerous problems with this you need a dealership to check this out it could be causing complications with the anti theft security.just try disconnecting battery first go from there

If it pops the trunk then the unit is still programmed correctly to the vehicle. I would open it and check the buttons and ensure you didn't pinch them and they are still making contact with the pads inside key fob. Probably just stuck after closing the remote.

i have a 2005 chevy malibu and i close the trunk with the keys inside and the little button on the door is stock but the car is open is and other way to open the trunk from inside of the car?

you can charge the battery from the engine compartment. check your owners manual that is the correct place to jump and to charge the battery.

your vallet button is pushed mine is in thhe glove box turn it off i thought i needed a battery 2 good luck
