Fuel filter is located under the rear of the passenger side. Under the car sill towards the rear tire you will see the petrol tank. The fuel filter is fastened to the side in line with fuel pipe coming from the tank. Easy to replace, but make sure fit the right way round using the flow arrows.
The filter is under the car on the passenger side in front of the gas tank. release the plastic tabs and after removing the fixture that holds the filter pull it off the fuel line on each end. Be careful not to get gas in your eyes or on yourself. Put a small amount of engine oil on the fuel lines before putting the filter on to keep from damaging the seals.
is this a diesel engine? and did you have the filter changed recently because the fuel filter is located at top of engine in the front.in any case open hood and look you will find a black plastic round filter case check it for leakage.its right on top in eye sight.
In 2005 Subaru moved the fuel filters to the fuel tank for both 4-cyl and 6-cyl cars. What is confusing is the statement in the owner's manual about replacement intervals; the statement actually only applies to 4-cyl cars. Even though the filter is mounted in the tank, this is still a replaceable element on 4-cyl, but not on 6-cyl. The 6-cyl filter element is part of the entire fuel pump assembly (a $300 assembly) and is not sold separately. Therefore the 6-cyl filter is intended to be a "lifetime" part, which really means it gets replaced when the fuel pump fails and the entire pump assembly is replaced.
It is very easy locating the Fuel Filter. It is located in front of the Fuel Tank located at the Driver Side. To identify the Filter more clearly, you will see that the Filter will have 2 Hoses attached to it. These Hoses will be further attached with Clips which are usually Whitish or Yellowish. Sir, I think now you can get the location of the Fuel Filter. Contact me for Further Doubts.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.
the oil level sensor is screwed into the engine block on the front of the engine it has a 2pin connector on the end of it.
as for the fuel filter its probably an intank one, the service life of these ones is something like 160,000 miles, to change these u will need to remove the fuel tank sender unit and if you do make sure its practicaly empty of fuel because the plastic fuel tanks can distort
It's located underneath the car, not in the engine compartment, right next to the fuel pump. It's on the driver's side, right behind the front tire underneath a little panel that unscrews w/ a 1/8mm socket. Make sure you get the right filter. Some have one port (opening) in one port out, others have two. There will be pressure in the system be careful not to get gas in your eyes. As far as testing, if the fuel pressure is correct that's it, U are done.
The fuel filter is located underneath the car in front of the gas tank.
You have release the fuel pressure. Remove the fuel filler cap, locate the fuel test port on the fuel rail on the passenger side on the end of the right real fuel rail for a 3.1L engine.
3.8L engine yhr test port is located at the pressure regulator under the trim cover.
