Spark plugs should be changed at about every 25,ooo mile to be on the safe side and it keeps your engine efficient.I hope this helps. Don't forget to rate my answer, thanks.

1999 1500 gmc savana wont start, it ran great, parked and now in the am it did not start...amp is good but oil gauge is low, we already add oil to it, it needed 2 qts...please help

May I ask how long since the last oil change? 2 quarts low is some serious oil loss. You are going to have to do some basic troubleshooting. Start by checking for blown fuses. Next, check to see if you are getting spark to the spark plugs. If you're getting spark, then check for fuel delivery. Do this by cranking the engine with the starter for a few seconds. Then pull one spark plug and see if it is wet with fuel. Let me know what you find and we will go from there. Good luck.

1999 GMC Savana - changed fuel filter, changed fuel pump, changed mass oil flow sensor, changed fuel injectors; still won't run!

Hi, I see you have changed a bunch of items, but do we know if the engine is getting fuel pressure? (55 psi at test port), or getting good spark? Could the spark plugs be fouled?I think before you replace too many items, you should start with basics. Good luck, Thanks...

Have a code p0304 please help on a 5.7eng g1500 savana van 1996

the code that you are receiving is the second cylinder on the passenger side, in otherwords the second spark plug from the front of the motor to the rear.it is not firing properly. now you have to figure out if it is the spark plug or wires or injectors, replace the plugs and wires first, if that doesn't fix than you may need to replace the injetor on number 4 cylinder.

Firing Order diagram for 2006 Ford Explorer

Hope this helps. The ignition coil:
  • changes low-voltage pulses from the PCM to high-voltage pulses.
  • fires 2 spark plugs simultaneously.
  • has 3 transformers.
    • One transformer fires the spark plugs for cylinders 1 and 5
    • One transformer fires the spark plugs for cylinders 2 and 6
    • One transformer fires the spark plugs for cylinders 3 and 4
Spark plug wires:
  • carry high-voltage pulses from the ignition coil to the spark plugs.
The spark plugs:
  • change high-voltage pulses to spark at the gap, which ignites the fuel and air mixture.
The firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6.

remove the dog house and remove and replace the spark plugs through the wheel wells with front front wheels off you will need a 5/8 swivelsocket and a long extension oh ya dont forget to remove the rubber inner fender wells. good luck its not that bad change 1 plug wire at a time if you dont have a manual.

Gmc savana van will stop running while driving or start sputterin

It could be a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump. Also try replacing the spark plugs and spark plug wires and having the timing checked. Good luck.
