Question about 2002 Volvo S80
Sounds like a bad o2 sensor is causing the problem. Most auto parts stores will scan your car for free to tell you what o2 sensor is bad.
There is also a possibility that there is a leak in the turbo tubing. check all of the hoses and plastic pipes for leaks.
