Hi there Your idle speed is controlled by a idle control value. You must firstly identify whether your PGM-FI ECU has a blinking code and what that code is. It might identify that the idle control value is playing-up. You will find the idle control value connected to the inlet manifold by way of vacuum hoses. It might be that the vacuum hose has dropped off or is broken - if that's the case, simply reconnect or replace the vacuum hose and your problem should be rectified. Best regards, Scottech.

Have you changed the fuel filter? If not try this it could work wonders for you, however if this don't fix the problem you may have a bad idle air control valve (IAC)

SOURCE: stalling problems

Hi
There can be many reasons for stalling. There can be dust obstructed in the carburetor thus the idling system is not working properly. There can be a leakage in the air pipe system and may be the pcv valve got damaged or the secondary accelerator may stuck open or the tick over or mixture not well adjusted.or the air filter may be clogged .So try my friend and it will be ok.

SOURCE: car stalls when i stop

it sounds like a low idle either caused by poor adjustment or a dirty throttle body. clean the carbon out of the throttle body. if that does not work bring the revs up with the idle screw

SOURCE: check engine light after every oil change 2005 Honda

This happens because the oil filter needs to be free of air. When the oil pressure sensor drops below a certain value it shuts off the injectors because the PCM. This is a good feature because if you run out of oil for any reason it should stop the engine before damage occurs.

Malfunction code P1167/P1162 my 98 ho da accord ex VTEC 2.3L stalls out when I come to a stop. Restating is not a problem, but every time I come to a stop it stalls. Idle drops and then stall's.

You may have 2 problems. The trouble codes are for an oxygen sensor fault. You likely have a bad oxygen sensor, but that usually won't cause a car to stall. If you're having issues at idle, look for vacuum leaks or possibly a very dirty throttle body.

Causes stalling

seems like flooding
you remove spark plugs. see them soaked with fuel. flooding.
does car restart easy? never stated.
if you lose spark , the ECU cuts fueling, but not 100% of time.
so spark tests are first.
also make sure the EGR is not stuck open.
when the car starts to stall.
can the fast right foot , prevent it?
if yes, is it easy to do.or is it fighting you hard. or not possible.
now you have some ways and means.
