Cluch slipping on "96" Ford Galaxy

Was wondering if it is possible to adjust the clutch on the ford galaxy 96 as it has started slipping slightly? thanks

Unfortunately no these are hydraulic clutches on these motors.

No it is a self adjusting hydraulic type. If it slips or the pedal has no play the clutch disk is worn out.

possible vaccum leak, check all vaccum hoses for cuts aor being loose. You can take a can of starting fluid and start you car, let idle and spray around the hoses and the intake to find vaccum leaks.

It feels as though the clutch pedal is much softer than it used to be and has to be depressed all the way to the floor to shift and it is more difficult to get into gear, particularly reverse.
try adjusting any free play in your cable connected to the clutch fork from the clutch peddle, there mite be an adjustment screw, nowadays its usually white plastick, take up any free play in the cable,failing this you mite need a clutch replacement.due to ware.

My 2001 fiesta 1.3 seems to have a cluch problem, when i put it into gear the peddle comes up very high to reach biting point,yet it does not seem to be slipping as imhave tried it with the handbreak on,...
i believe you have a hydraulic clutch assy but sometimes there is peddle adjustment below where it comes in through firewall

sub frame has to be lowered and you will need alignement tools to replace or the steering geometry will be out
