Truck was chugging down road pulled into fix it station they changed fuel filter left and still had same problem they noted the problem was not fixed and probably fuel pump- made it home barely stalled pushed into garage- started next day drove 10 minutes or so to different shop stalled on road towed to shop . they changed fuel pump - on way home didnt quite make it to driveway 10 minutes or so of driving had towed back to shop they have now changed distributor, wires , plugs, and coil pack they still cannot get it to run past now 20 minutes they are now changing computer something what really could this problem be???
You could have gotten bad gas in your tank. Did you try dry gas at all? Also, bad gas can leave alot of sediment at the bottom of your tank, waiting for the right movement to get moving into your system. A new filter would only get quickly clogged again. I had this happen- got gas from a station after a flood- fuel tank had to be dropped and cleaned out.
