Code refers to intermediate shaft speed sensor---no signal causes may bewiring---poor connections---short to ground. intermediate shaft speed sensor ECM/TCM I wqould start with the sensor replacing it with a genuine sensor as aftermarket may have different setting and the cpu recognises as faulty still.

when the check engine light comes on,the computer system has picked up a problem. the other lights come on because their systems turn off when the computer finds a fault. once the computer problem is repaired, the other lights should go out.

I just had the same issue. Cost me $40.00 to find out my gas cap wasnt clicked all the way. He also said that after the error arises, simply closing the gas until it clicked may not have removed the error code from the computer. Not sure how, but you might have to reset the computer, maybe just pull the battery?

Check your switches for the VSC, some get bumped on (due to their location) and some get stuck in the "on"position.

I am having a multiple cylinder misfire on my 2006 Toyota RAV4 with the 3.5L V6. Every cylinder is reporting a mifire. Each cylinder has it's own coil. I highly doubt that all 6 coils went bad at once. Does anyone have any idea what my be causing this?? Is that the problem you two are having?
Whenever
this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM,
SRS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must
now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and
"scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the
problem(s)
