Question about 1984 Toyota 4Runner
You must first, remove the grill on the front of the car. Above the bumper. It has very fragile clips, they have two tabs each, you must line them up with the small slots. Then pull the grill off. Then use a Philip screw driver to unscrew the head light hold down covers then pull the light out and unplug the three wire plug.

You will have to take the grill off and after you to that you will see 3 screws around the headlights, there will be a spring holding the headlight housing on as well

Take a long flat head screw driver and a good flash light and move the tabs on the clips in to the slots. when you get the grill off then use a philpps screw driver to remove headlight holder. be care full those clips break easy and some people put wood screws in to replace the broken clips.
