One headlight not working even though light bulb is in perfect or new condition. Is there a seperate fuse for each side? It is the low-beam. Any help would be useful. Thank you

Is the headlight new or is just nice looking? check the light for continuity with an ohmeter or just hotwire it to a battery (center post is (-) ) each terminal is either high or low. check for power in the socket & ck socket ground.

if it is a hid light system they are famous for the balast going bad. follow the wires from light bulb. if they go into a box then its a hid system and it is the balast box that needs to be replaced. also check the fuses, sometimes there are seperate fuses for each headlight.

My passenger side low beam headlight is out. the driver side low beam headlight works fine. I replaced the bulb and the headlight still doesn't work. What should I look at next?

Check the fuse. There are seperate fuses for right and left. You dont mention if the high beam works for that side? If it does, the fuse is good. The GREEN wire at the bulb is the ground for the low beam. If that wire has power, then the ground is bad. If the high beam works, the hi'lo beam switch is good, and there is a problem between that headlight and the Engine Compartment Junction Block

I had a simialar problem with a Chryser crossfire, I checked the fuses and replaced the globes, even to the extent of pulling out the whole headlight. I rechecked the fuses and found that there were seperate fuses for left and right, I kicked myself because the right had blown. just check it again, also I have in the past bought a new globe that was faulty, use a circuit tester to test the plug to be sure. Good luck

2006 beetle headlight assembly out

hi each h/light on car has its own fuse as does the offside and nearside side and tail lights also a seperate fuse is for the brake stop lights so if you check the fuse box and fuses you may find fault ? also if you check the underneath of panel cover you may find indication of each fuse and its amp rating and purpose ?
