When making an excellerated left turn, there is a loud grinding, popping noise that sounds like a loose wheel (but is not), or a bad c/v joint ( but no c/v joint exists on this vehicle). The noise is apparent even when making only a slight turn of the wheel and the wheel and tire are not rubbing against anything in the wheel well.
