Question about 2003 Nissan Altima
Cigarette lighter has never worked since I purchased the car, but the poser outlet did until I used an electric heater then it stopped working. I changed the fuse for the appliance but it still doesnt work I would appreciate any advice thank you the car is a nissan almera tino on a 02 plate I had to select a altima in the lower section has it did not have a almera
Hi there, very common on these vehicles, you need to remove the heater cotrols and check that the cable hasn't come out, usually the clips that hold the cables in place break causing the heaters to not work properly, Nissan do modified clips now to stop it from happening, it may need a cable too if its too far bent, hope this helps.

The cigarette lighter is connected to a harness that's being the unit. You need to most likely remove the panel that the cigarette lighter is attached to in order to remove the lighter unit out. Once the unit is out, disconnect the wiring harness to exchange it. I don't know how exactly your lighter will come out

Your radio believes that it has been stolen out of the car since battery power was lost to it (as a result of the car battery going dead). There should be instructions in the user manual on how to reset the radio.

Try this: With the ignition ON but radio OFF, press in and hold the INFO button and turn volume control until the menu appears. Now choose CONFIRMATION and Enter. Go down and select SERVICE and press Enter. Select RESET and then Enter. Backup to the main menu and now turn ignition off. This should remove it.
