Those are not valid codes, recheck them. Please check the fuel pressure under a load like accelerating, also check for excessive exhaust flow back pressure due to a plugged catalytic converter.. Also try unplugging the MAF sensor, if it is defective the engine will run better (almost normal with slight hesitation) but the check engine light will come on.
You might have this problem: Recall 84V106000: Possible Accelerator Cable Wear
POSITIONING OF THE ACCELERATOR CONTROL CABLE IN THE
ENGINE COMPARTMENT COULD RESULT IN ABNORMAL WEAR TO THE CABLE. THE CABLE
COULD BEGIN TO FRAY AND UNWIND.
UPON INSPECTION, THE ACCELERATOR CABLE WILL BE REPOSITIONED, IF NECESSARY, AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED.
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH HITACHI CRUISE
CONTROL SYSTEMS; TURBO AND NON-TURBO CHARGED MODELS.
SYSTEM: EQUIPMENT; CRUISE CONTROL, ACCELERATOR CONTROL CABLE.
CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: FRAYING OF THE ACCELERATOR CABLE MAY CAUSE THE CARBURETOR THROTTLE TO STICK OPEN; THE CABLE COULD BREAK. DRIVER COULD LOSE CONTROL OF VEHICLE SPEED AND AN ACCIDENT COULD RESULT.
have you check the oil level on trans and have you change the oil on the engine lately check the levels on both. Usually on engine is too much oil car drags and on trans if low oil it usually stays in gear to protect the trans. your car is telling you check oil. No lubrication some warning lights do not come up for trans
It should still be under warrenty Take it to the shop for repairs It is a transmisson problem but many things can cause the transmisson not to shift correctly. Call your service department and ask if you should drive it in or have it towed and do not drive till you have it figured out. If you have a warrenty and continue to drive it will void your warrenty.
you say you swapped out ecu? shouldnt make much difference only slightly more hp in the ex version does the check engine light stay on could be throttle position sensor ,speed sensor ,sounds very dangerous
Automatic transmission are complex systems. The shifting of gears is based on a number of things like bands, speed, acceleration, deceleration, manifold back pressure, RPMs, temperature, etc.
Sometimes the electrical ground connection for the transmission can become corroded which causes poor shifting.
Since you are getting an error code, you should get a readout for it. Many auto supply store like Advance Auto will loan a meter for you to get a readout. Call up some stores to find one.
