Can't get fan to work on the heater

I can't seem to find why my fan stopped working..i checked fuses and that wasnt it... please help

Inside the control panel in the dash are some connections to the switch board you might have a bad ground wire or other hot wires check there before tearing in to blower motor it will save you some time

If you want to leave the heater inop the best way is to go under the dash you probably have to remove the cover under the glove cpmpartment

Heater will not blow air

Hook direct power to the fan and see if it works, if so, fan likely okay.

Heater blower not working

It sounds like your cabin air filter has stopped up common problem on these cars. You have to remove the glovebox to get to it. If this filter stops up, your fan will be running on high but hardly anything will come out of the vents.

The heater fan only works now and then but very rarely vw passat

1998 Jetta my heater won't work, fan or nothing works on it

Try and giggle the switch, wears out sometimes, if not its probably the blower-engine thats done;)
