Question about 2002 Pontiac Grand Am
Do I need to change the tranmision oil
Posted on Feb 03, 2011
If trans is sealed, no dip stick, usually at about 65,000 - 85,000 miles, youll want to do a transflush and transpan gasket. - that way you can check your levels, add, replace, and repair alll at the same time. You can just get away with a transpan gasket, but will only flush out 30% of your old fluids.
but if your trans isnt sealed, you have to check the trans fluid with the car running and in neutral.
