Question about 1991 Subaru Legacy
My 1991 Subau Legacy has trouble going into gear. It feels like the clutch is not engaging and I can't get into any gear.My husband thinks the clutch is working. What could be the problem,
Does it go into gear ok when its not running? When its running does it grind when you try to put it in gear? Does clutch feel firm or soft when you push it in? If you can shift all gears when its not running then its a clutch problem. If you can't than its a transmission problem. Is it a hydrolic clutch or mechanical? I can only guess and i won't do that, i need this info to help you.
