SOURCE: What is the firing order for a v8 1984 pontiac

firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 distributor rotation is clockwise with cylinder 1 on the cap being toward the front of the engine, a little to the left as seen from the back of the engine. Sorry don't know how to attach graphic

does it have spark ?
does it have fuel pressure?
does it have injector pulse?
check to see if you have fuel pressure if you have fuel pressure check spark if you ave spark check for injector pulse

Whats the firing order

Although the GTP has a supercharger the engine makeup is basically the same. 3800 series II The front from pass. to driver is 1-3-5 and rears pass. to driver is 2-4-6.
The plug wire order is 145236

Drive belt diagram

Hello! I'm not sure if you have a N/A or Supercharged 3.8 - so I've put both diagrams below.
You'll need a 15mm wrench to move the tensioner pulley.
