Did all the controls quit working? Or just certain ones like temp, switch, or selector switch, or blower switch?

Same thing is happening to me on my 89 silverado c1500,
once in a while mine will make a clicking noise for a min or so. Tried cleaning contacts, checking wires and finally replacing the controller with two different ones from the wrecker with same result as the original. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Also, check the contact pads on the plug side and control side. clean them with a standard pink eraser and wipe clean. be carefull, it is very thin plating on the board. smear a very light coat of dielectric grease on the contacts and try again.

Usually if the controller becomes defective it will flash. It could be the wiring but if you have power to it then you need to confirm that it has ground. It will be under the dash, may be behind the pass. side interior panel below the dash.

I have a 2003 chev silverado, 4x4 2500 both power seats and seat heaters stopped working at the same time, Looking for reason why, all fuses seem to be good. I was told to replace the 25 amp relay on

Ok I don't know who these people are giving advice but I hope they are not gm mechanics. There is a fuse under the hood marked MBEC 1 50amp. If it blows it knocks out both power seats seat heaters and power windows passenger side front and back. I can't believe all this wiring ****!

I have a 1994 silverado, The Heat/ac controls do not work (don't even light up) I have found no blown fuses but have no Idea what else to look for.

computer does not have anything to do with your heater controls. With a working control box everything should work, if not them you'll have to deal with the electric actuator motors. microprocessor is in the control panel.chevrolet-silverado-2500-evaporator-heater-parts-diagram_thumb.png1) Evaporator core2) Evaporator core Seal3) Evaporator case Upper4) Evaporator case Lower5) Heat shield6) Seal kit7) Heater core8) Heater case9) Blower motor10) Fan11) Resistor12) Blower case

Blower motor control won`t run

The fan module just above the heater motor likely needs to be replaced. Sometimes the connector that goes to it melts as well.

Heater fuse

On the inside of the panel that you take off to get to the fusebox there should be a diagram listing what each fuse controls. Try that and see if it works. If not a chevy dealer can always help you
