Question about 2007 Audi A4 Convertible
I went over a pothole today and it appears that it may have caused some structural damage to the windshield's frame. There's a silver piece that goes across horizontally at the top of the windshield just where the convertible top latches. On either end of this piece the windshield's frame meets with the vertical silver pieces for the windshield. I noticed as I was driving today that since I went over that pothole there's been a crackling noise coming from the left side of my convertible top where the top meets the windshield. The silver pieces should be flush and smooth, but now the left vertical piece has a lip. I fear this may be causing the crackling noise I hear.
On that new of a car i would just take it back to audi and have them lok at it as this is almost certainly a manufacturers problem and thus should be notified of this as it may be production based.
