Wipers stop after 5 minutes of slow or intermiant speed use.

2001 Olds Intrigue, 3.5 liter. After several minutes of use in slow or intermitant speed use the wipers stop. They contiue to work at high speed.

Try replacing the Wiper Motor Pulse Board Module. It is available at aftermarket parts stores, it is easy to replace, and it is a high failure item. Eventually, the module will fail completely and leave you with no wipers.

Where is the water pump located on a 2001 olds. Intrigue?


If the engine is sideways, it would be located on the left side of the engine by the belts. See if a hose is hooked up to it.

2001 olds aurora has several problems. 1. oil pressure lights comes on intermitantly 2. fuel gauge does not work 3. transmission shifts hard intermitantly


Classic 2001 Aurora problems!1) I have found the oil pressure light comes on intermittently as well. Check the oil quality and level. On mine I have not needed to do anything else.

My best solution, which you may not want to hear is new wiper motors. It seems like a common thing in these cars (the wipes don't go down all the way.

Olds Intrigue transmissions shift Harshly & disappears


I have a 99 olds intrigue 3.8l Autozone computer states poor electrical connection or short circuit, or failed vehicle spped sensor or drive gear mechanical fault. speedometer works sometimes and drives great next time it raises rpm and speedometer does not work. Where is the speed sensor or where is the elctrical circuit I can check to see if connections are good.
