Bulb should come out of back of headlamp housing. May need to remove battery if bad bulb is on that side.

Why wont my 98 Explorer headlights shut off?

Headlight switch? Headlights don't use the fuse panels. Is there a delayed off for the headlights? If so, this module might be defective.

89 LX support Mustang dim headlights changed headlight switch check the wires connections all good and clean grounds are good.

You have a poor ground somewhere, likely near the headlight connector. Run a new ground to the connector, check the B+ voltage to the connector is it the same as battery voltage?

How do you change the headlight in a 2000 ford escort zx2

Under the hood - follow the wires to the back of the headlight assembly. Separate the connector and remove the lock ring around it. Coax the bulb out - it is held in with a rubber ring. Note the position - the new bulb will only go in in the same position. Replace the lock ring and the wire connector.
