I have a corolla1994 it starts but sometimes after driving I turn it off then will not start put it in on position for 2 minutes will start

It is not the coil. Check fuel pressure. Next time it doesn't start, check for spark. Problem may be a weak igniter signal from the distributer.

I have a 98 vw jetta gl ABA and it wont start run.

I would check for spark on the ignition coil and the spark plug. If no spark, check the power and signal to the ignition coil. The ignition coil large wires are 12volts power and the other three is a signal to electronic firing circuit from ECM. Testing the power is easy, for testing for trigger signal, use a 12v LED test light.

99 jetta wont start, lights and radio work, windows dont, it just wont turn over, its not the battery

FIRST IS THERE FUEL IN THE TANK, CHECK THE SECURITY AND CONDITION OF THE BATTERY TERMINALS / CHECK THE HT LEADS ARE SECURELY CONNECTED TO THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP / CHECK THAT THE HT LEAD TO THE IGNITION COIL IS SECURELY CONNECTED / CHECK THAT THE LT WIRING PLUG AT THE IGNITION COIL IS SECURELY CONNECTED / FIT NEW SPARK PLUGS / THEN SPRAY ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ABOVE WITH WD 40 .

My sons 1990 626 ran great. I change the oil and reconnected the speedometer cable that had vibrated loose. took it for a drive to make sure I didn't have any oil leaks. It ran for about 5 minutes and just...

we'll assume fuel is good..leaving spark and air..and management of systems(computer /sensors)...so the speedo cable was disconnected? try taking it loose again , test drive and report back please
