You will have to bleed a little more specific. if you look under the bonnet and find the final valve which iss not connected on both sides and undo the one wothout the pipe connecting it. not all the way as this is a bleed screw and only needs slackening. once this is achieved then you should pump slowly with the little black bubble which you mentioned previously.

Close bleed plugs after all air is removed from the fuel tank, filters, settlement bulb, and fuel pump (only one at a time working through all bleed screws beginning closest to tank and ending at nozzles if necessary). 10. Try the engine; if it doesn't start or runs poorly, you may have to bleed the injection line. 11.

60 horse Work Master New Holland wont start blead lines but looses fuel to filter seems like hand pump dont work will run if you spray ether then dies when you stop spraying it. Can someone help

Earl You have to be able to bleed all of the air out of the fuel filter and lines for your engine to run. If the fuel is leaking back to the tank there is a problem with the valves in the hand primer pump. You might have to replace the pump. Remove or loosen the bleed screw on the top of the filter and pump out all of the air so there is no more bubbles then loosen the fuel lines at the injectors and turn the engine over with the starter to bleed the lines. Only crank over with the starter for 30 seconds per try and give the starter time to cool down

Diesel pump bleeding

First off you need a good battery or jumper leads as it takes a bit of cranking. You usually don't have to do it at the pump you crack it were the hard line goes into the injector. Back that nut of just enough that you can wriggle the hard line just a little. Then crank the motor over until you see that there are no air bubbles coming out with the fuel. Then tighten the nut while still cranking, after a couple have been bleed the engine will try to run. After the engine is running repeat the bleeding process to each injector again. It does help if you can hook you some low pressure air to the fuel tank and make sure that the fuel has reached the filter and pump before you start.

My 5.9 dodge cummins diesel won't start, I've replaced the fuel lift pump, and the fuel filter, turns over. But will not start?

Most likely you just have air in the lines.Crack them open one at a time and bleed them with the fuel pump off and on till you get fuel.If it fires dont hit the throttle let it sit and idle and close the line.Does it fire up with a small whif of starting fluid?
