Question about 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
My 99 passats rear passenger door wont open, that is,when the button is down in the locked position and you pull the handle on the inside the button comes up but goes straight back down again.the child lock isn't activated.i've been told it may be the dead lock?
i've tried pulling the outside handle just as the central locking is being worked but no good.
can the dead lock be bypassed manually or electrically.
This is not the dead lock? if i am right in thinkin that this is a centrally locked car then the sensor in the door isd set too low mybe slipped as only has to be out a little to cause this, more of an antitheft system than a dead lock.
