There are 2 square buttons on the dash, to the left of the steering wheel. Push the left one to get to the maintenance screen and push the right one to change the "oil", "oil filter", or "tire" schedules. Don't worry about "other".
To reset, highlight the number and just hit "back", to reset it automatically. It takes a while but you'll figure it out.

Hi Guillermothe,

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I know with older vehicles the light needs to be reset. In older vehicles all you have to do is disconnect the battery for 30 minutes, reconnect and you're good to go.

But, you're driving a newer vehicle, this may effect your car alarm, or even your radio.

Hope I've helped, don't forget to rate.

My maintenace required light turned red. what does it mean and what do I have to do to fix it? I don't want my engine to blow up again.

Insert your ignition key all the way, straight into the slot next to the 'light' on the dash. That will reset the maintenance minder to green, and if you haven't yet maintained the car, do it now. That should keep your engine from blowing up, again.

How do you get the maintenance required light on dash to do out after a routine maintenace tune up

This should work as it works on a Honda Accord. With the ignition off push and hold the odometer reset button while at the same time turning the ignition to the on position without starting the engine. After 5 seconds the light will reset.

Maintenace light blinks when car turns on

I'm not quite sure on a Toyota, But on a Acura it just meant that by mileage your getting close for your 7500 mile service. then when the light stays on that means your due for the service. also check your owners manuel.

PRESS AND HOLD IN THE TRIPOMETER RESET BUTTON. WITH IT IN, TURN THE KEY TO THE ON POSITION WITHOUT STARTING THE ENGINE. THE DISPLAY WILL COUNT DOWN IN HASH MARKS FROM 6 TO 0. AFTER IT REACHES 0 RELEASE THE TRIPOMETER RESET, TURN THE KEY TO THE OFF POSITION. ONCE YOU RESTART THE LIGHT SHOULD BE OFF.
