Get a Haynes Manual for your car from auto zone or advance auto.You will have to take off the front grill and it sets in your face. The Haynes Manual will show you step by step how to fix your problem........runjoe

this is a common failure, I ordered mine from rockauto.com. You only have to remove the front grill insert to replace the fan. The relay that operates the fan it is the same as the OMRON used in a chevy S10 because the books list it as a dealer item only. But after replacing the relay it was the fan itself intermittently failing. There should be 6 or 8 screws holding the grill in place and if I remember correctly you have to remove the hood latch as well. About a half hour job. The part was around 130 dollars. I do not remember having to remove any radiator hoses to do this. Hope this is useful.
