The low beam headlamps have a seperate fuse for each lamp in the central or underdash fuse panel.
The right headlamp is fuse fuse 26 (10amp) and the left is fuse 28 (10 amp). These fuse are hot only when headlamps are on so you need to test them with a test light with headlamps on. If they do not have power to them then concern is either headlamp switch or daytime running lamp relay if your vehicle is equipped with this feature, or a bad multifunction switch.
Power leaves the headlamp switch on the RD/YE wire and goes to multifunction switch. It leaves multifunction switch on the other RD/YE wire The wire will then go thru either a connector c2003 located behind the passenger side air bag behind the dash or to the DRL relay if your vehicle has this feature and leaves there on RD/BK wire to the headlights .

I would like to say thank you to whomever wrote this. You just saved me a whole lite of headache. The wire was not connected behind the airbag. So again thank you very much.

No power to right side (PS) headlight low beam plug socket, new bulb, fuse is good. High beam works, blinker works, park light works. just no low beam and doesn't register any voltage on volt meter.

check low beam fuse when switched on if it has voltage registering across the fuse ,if there is voltage across the low beam RHS fuse then it is possibly a pinched wire from the headlight running back towards inside of the car

Checked all 3 fuse boxs, fuses and lights bulbs they are good. problem is no low beams lights on both sides, only high beam and parking. any ideas? also already changed out the breaker (20-30) on the...

When you turn on your head lamp do you notice that you also have rear tail lights that are lit up as well? I have noticed on some occasion, both front headlamp assemblies could possibly be blown at the same time. One of the most important tools for checking to see if you have power on the low and high beam circuit will be a automotive test lamp, you can purchase these at most auto parts stores.

Headlights do not work. Beam works, park lights and other lights work. Bulbs ok

more than likely a fuse or a relay is bad. locate the fuse for the headlights (owners manual) and check if it is bad, if the fuse is good, find the relay and give it a flick or two and try the headlights then, if they work, its time for a new relay

for the brake lights check your fuses and relays and for your low beams your multifunction lever needs to be changed.

Low beam not working but high beam is-Pontiac Vibe 2005

I have heard it could be the Daylight Running Light module located under the dash above the brake pedal. The module controls both the daytime running lights and the low beam lights. The high beams are independent of this module.

I have the same problem. I am trying to buy a new module.

Low Beam headlight and front parking lights do not work

see for the head lamp relay fuse a few manufacturer install a typical fuses for seprately for relay so see weather the fuse are ok or not then see for wiring as far you mention that the wiring of right side went streached to the lower ball joint there is a possibality that wire's can break internally & may get shot circuited due to cross circuit & may cause this sort's of problem & if possible show it to highly experience person techanican, mechanic or an authorised dealer or service centre who can sortout you car problem untill then see you soon my friend
