Blower motor stopped working All summer i only had high speed on the fan motor and know it quite..People keep telling me it is a modual..

I think I'd try a new blower motor resistor first, as your going to need a new one anyway if it only ran in high speed. Look behind glove box, and under dash on passenger side and see where wires from blower motor are going back to. The connector where the blower motor wires attach to, is usually your blower resistor, held in with a couple of screws. If wires go through firewall, then look at back of engine area on firewall for it on passenger side. Everyone told me same thing, that the resistor will still supply power to motor, even if it's burned out, but mine quit after running on high for a while, and it was all I needed to replace to get everything working again. As I said, you'll need to replace it anyway right?

A/c/heater motor only works on high

There is something called a "blower motor resistor" that is mounted in the heater box in front of the blower fan. It is burnt out. It's mounted in the heater box so that the blower motor cools it down but they still burn out over time. There is usually a few big wires that connect to it and it will be held on to the box from the outside with a couple of screws. If you need exact instruction, let me know and I'll dig them up and post it.

A heater motor only working on high is a sign of a bad heater blower resistor. It is mounted near the heater motor and is replaceable. (Normally behind the glove box door.)

My 02 Stratus heater only works on high. Any idea

Your blower resistor is bad. It controls the mutiple speeds to allow you to go from low/med/high. When it goes bad you get one speed or no speeds....It's about $20-$50 at any local auto parts store. It mounted directly to the speed switch or on the heater plenum unit on the passenger side behind the glove box....

I have a problem with my fan on my 1999 sunfire

This is sometimes caused by the blower motor resistor. It is usually an inexpensive repair. The resistor mounts in the heater box, and depending on the location of the heater box, is fairly easy to change.

Blower fan for 2000 lumina not working. how do i access blower resistor

Do u have high speed? if not it may be the blower motor and not the resistor, the blower motor and resistor (which is near it) are on the inside passenger side of car under the dash, u will have to lay on your back to even see it, and it is very hard to get at even then.
