Hello, If you have a local mechanic shop to replace that motor it will cost you any where from $1800 to $3000. I would say the dealer would cost $3500 but sometimes the extra at the dealer is more than worth it, like how long it will take to get it back.Thank you.

How do i change my oil

Drain old oil, replace filter, fill with new oil.
First find out how much oil your car holds, and what viscosity (you'll see on any new bottle of oil, 10w-30, 5w-30, 0w-20, etc.) Then find out what filter you need. Honestly walmart is your best bet. They will tell you which model your car needs. Get your car on a sloped surface, (you can buy plastic ramps cheap specially for this) and remove the plug from the oil pan Located toward the front of the car directly under the dashboard. You can google pics of an oil pan. Drain the used oil, find your old filter, remove it, replace, put the plug back in and fill it with however much yoyr engine needs. Most cars take 3 to 5 quarts. Good luck

Does anything get messed up if ive tried to start honda civic lx with spark plug wires in wrong order i tried about 10 times to start

correct the plug wires, and you should be fine. if anything possibly would get messed up it would be the cap or rotor, ot may have (carbon tracked due to cross fireing),but not likely. again place wires in correct firing order and shld be ok.

Took van in for tune up. Called me and said computer was bad need to replace. What is the cost of replacing it.

Get a second opinion, (pause) especially if it was running when you took it in. Other than that, the best place to order a good one is ebay motors. Locally, you can check the junk yards that have later model vans.

I have 99 Sportage that recently had the heater core replaced. The blower motor went out a few weeks ago. How hard is it to replace? I can't seem to find a blower motor at a used parts place either. Is it...

Your best bet is go to a salvage yard and have them broadcast it on their lines chances are someone will have it and you can get it for half the cost plus shipping. How d o you know the motor is burned out and it's not the resistor burned out? have you put power to motor and a ground to see if it would spin? Post here if you need the hot line for used parts.

04 toyota sienna xle driver side sliding door not opening

You need a motor assembly for the power door. It comes with the gears and cables all as one assembly. It requires taking apart the sliding door from the inside. Removing the door panel, door glass, window regulator and motor assembly to gain access to the unit. This is not a job for a novice, and can be a costly repair. Check around for the best price from a place that has experience in Toyota sliding doors.
You cannot just replace a broken cable.

it is simple actually.

Just time connsuming.

First you need ot know, you have to pull the motor and transmission.

you need to unplug every thing, formt he motor and transmission, and thing that will tie it to the car.

Electrical cables, wires fuel lines, and transmission lines.

Pull each front tire off, you will need a drive axle removel tool and a ball joint seperator, youy can rent these at autozone. It is called loan a tool, you pay for them then get themoney back when you return it.

you want to remove the center axle bolt, this will be tough, best way is to use a ling pipe like a jack handle to turn it off.

then you need to undo the bolt for the ball joint and the tie rod ends, use the seprator with a hammer to remove.
use a large pry bar for the ball joint and push down on the control arm to pop the ball joint out and away form the arm.

Once you get it out, turn the entire assembly outward, the strut will turn with it so don't freak out.

then pull the assembly out tword you so that the drive axle pops out, then grab the axle and pull it out of the trans. Once you get both out, then move onto the motor mounts.

there is three of them, one on the passenger side on top one on the drivers side on bottom, and then the trans mount attached to the trans underneath.

ok not ur ready, using a cherry picker (engine hoist) attach the chain to the loop mounted on the top of the motor, ussually placed around the intake and heads. lift your engine out.

remove all of the bolts form the transmission bell housing, that is the big part attached ot the motor, you can then simply pull the transmission off of the motor. Make sure you do this on the ground to make sure you don't drop the transmission.

to put the trans oon the new motor, slide the gear into the trans attached ot the trans, do not remove the gear. you will have to wiggle the trans back and forth up and down and turn it a bit to get it to slide in, as the gear needs to line up with the sline. Replace the bolts and your ready.

Put your new motor in and put every thing back in the same order you took it out, as this will ensure you don't miss any thing.

If you have any problems or any questions, just message me back an i will be glad to help.
