high beams work but no low beams both lights. Fuses are good and changed the headlight switch on 1997 explorer. still no lights. The brights only work when pulling and holding the brights lever rather than pushing it, and letting it stay by itself. anybody know where a wirign diagram for headlights is?

If you have the information system check underneath there it's a black box that control the low beams. It might be burned out. If you need help finding it email me at marcuswalker601@gmail.com for faster answers.

Get a new bulb unfortuanally they are not cheap. They go for around $20.00 to $50.00 depending the one you get. I find that ULTRA works and illuminates better than the others. One bulb is low and high beams.

Headlight low beam r side no power high beam works fine

Sounds like the low beam element in the right side is burned out. The auto parts store should be able to verify that and sell you a new bulb.

It is most likely the multifunction switch has a bad contact, also pull and check the main hdlight switch for burned connectors.
