Check your new battery if it is charged up, sounds like something is draining your battery, or your alternator is not charging properly, check your charging system

Car wont start

You may want to check the starter unit of this car and make sure its working properly and if possibble try replacing it so we can isolate if that is the problem....

Hope that helps.........

Battery wont charge, battery/ABS/SRS/BRAKE lights come on while driving and flicker. voltage increases to dash lights/fan speed/headlights periodically.

Get a volt meter, start your car and see how many volts your car is producing while running. Should be around 14 volts. May want to watch the meter for a while since your electric seems to fluctuate. Most voltage regulators are internal of your alternator. If you are getting a lot more or less than 14 volts while running, replace the alternator. If it is not charging, voltage will drop as vehicle runs, until battery is dead.

2003 HIGHLANDER ALTERNATOR PROBLEM, CAR DIES

Jump start and check voltage across battery terminals. Should read between 13.8v to 14.5v. You could check battery voltage first and if its below 12v then either the battery is dud or alternator not charging. could be just brushes or regulator . Either way alternator will need to be removed and repaired

Will not start, battery related, was needing to be jumped so changed battery, started fine for a month and same thing again, except today it will not even jump start

while the battery has been charged, check for a voltage of 12- 12.5 volts,, then start the vehicle,, you should get a reading of 13.75- 14.5 volts , which would show the alternator and voltage regulator of functioning properly if not,, charge the battery and replace the alternator

If the regulator in the alternator has no feedback from the battery voltage, it will overcharge the battery OR the alternator is faulty. If the alternator is spun and a 12volt current source is put on the field terminal, it should produce 14.5Volts and no more without anything else to control it. I reckon the alternator is faulty.

Battery will not charge, first time its ever did this. rebuilt alternator new battery and new starter not to sure if new starter has anything to do with battery chargin but replaced it anyway, has good...

A bad voltage regulator could cause the problem. Assuming the alternator is working correctly. Jump the vehicle with the battery disconnected and then disconnect the jumper cables. If the vehicle dies your voltage regulator or Alternator are bad, some vehicle have separate regulators from the alternator, if it continues to run the alternator is good but the voltage regulator is probably the cause.

Where is the voltage regulator located on 92 chevy lumina euro

the voltage regulator is built into the altenator if the vehicle runs fine after jumping it it may be the battery or a bad connection at battery there may also be a draw on the battery
