Replace the turn signal switch. Remove the screws from the bottom of the column bezel, pop it apart. Then there are a couple of screws to remove the turn switch, plus the plugs. You'll probably need some torx bits. Everyone is going to these in the column.

Removing a CD player from a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage?

Don't know how much this will help, but some factory radios have a tool that is shaped like a big staple and there is 2 of them. If you see 2 small round holes on the sides of your factory cd player, then thats where these tools go. I have seen them at Wal-Mart and at Autozone. I have mainly seen these on Ford cars, so I'm not sure about a Mirage. Hope it helps.

TURN OFF RADIO TO KEEP FROM LOSING RADIO CODE DISCONNECT NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE. YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE STARTER FLYWHEEL COVER THEN REMOVE STARTER.I WOULD GET A LARGE SCREW DRIVER WEDGE IT SOMEWHERE ON THE FLY WHEEL.MAKING SURE NOT TO DAMAGE ANYTHING IT WOULD STOP ENGINE FROM TURNING WHILE I LOOSEN THE CRANK PULLEY BOLT.

Need radio code for 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage.

Any mitsubishi dealer can provide you with the code. You would need the title and identification though. Due the security setting on the stereo system. I called my nearest dealer, took the car in, and had the code in a matter of minutes. They will give u the code right there and even reset it. Make sure u write it down though.
