That green key is the immobilizer system indicator. It comes on for a few seconds when you turn the key to ON. It will then go off if you have inserted a properly coded key. If the key isn't coded properly, the green key indicator will flash and the engine won't start. The indicator also blinks several times when you turn the key from ON to Acc or Lock. This is normal. (From owner's manual under "Indicator Lights")

Honda odyssey loses power while driving. we've had the battery checked, connections, and ignition switch checked. Just as the power is failing the indicator light (green key icon) comes on

The harness might need to replaced that causes you car to loose power. Try to scan the vehicle using scan tool and provide me the error code that you will get.

My 2001 honda odyssey daylight running lights dash light stays on. Whe nstarting vehicle I get a buzzer sound which only goes off if i switch full lights on. Only problem is one of the highbeams don't work...

The lights run thru the daytime running light module. sounds as if it is on it's way out. these can be exspensive and you can't just unplug them. some of the newer models can be checked with a scanner

2005 honda odyssey ~ cannot remember how to reset the oil change

hold in the trip meter button on the dash before you turn on the key... keep the button pushed in, turn the key on, and wait until the light goes out( 10 sec or so)
