A few other things you can look for,#1 make sure your two fans are operating and the temperature control switch (check a manual for its location) is working, 15 dollars, it tells the p.c.m. the engine needs to get cool! the fans sometimes don't come on when we wait for them, they also have their Owen relays, most are found under the fans, make sure they are o.k, they catch a lot off the element's, hope this helps and good luck to u..

Thermastat and water pump changed but still overheating. why?

Could be a few things. Blockage in the radiator, blown headgasket, bad fan. Need to check for those or get a shop to have a look.

My 1998 chevy s10 has a New water pump.new raideator and new thermastat.why is it still running hot?

check for flow, if there is a blockage in the cooling system like heater core, hose collapsed can cause overheating. you have done the usual things for an overheat condition. you might want to have the head gasket/s checked by getting a test done to check for CO in the coolant. it may be a head gasket that needs replacing.

Sebring thermostat

I vaguely recall a bleeder on the intake or close to the top? Trapped air will make it overheat again.

My toyota tarago overheats

replace the thermostat and refill with proper coolant, make sure that there are no air bubbles stuck in the system. If that doesn't fix it check your water pump, there is a small hole in most water pumps called a weep hole, if it is bad, then there will be coolant leaking out of said hole

New water pump, but now s70 is overheating faster

Who did the job? If you did it it privately, possible you did not do the whole job. You have to bleed the system for air comes out of the cooling system, also check if the timing belt is correct fitted. And last check if the cooling fan is working.
