SOURCE: 87 blazer rear window wont open
Remove the cover plate and try hooking up a 9 volt battery (yes the standard square household battery) directly to the wires coming from the electric window motor. Hooking up the wires one way will lower and the opposite way will raise the glass. If that doesn't work you'll have to replace the motor or whole regulator unit. If it does work then use a voltmeter to find out how many volts are reaching the switch. As a vehicle gets older wires get worn (insulation comes off easily and small wire strands break were there's flexing or pulling) and grounds become loose or corroded. Check and clean all the grounds you can see (rusty door and hinge could cause a lack of grounding so clean around hinges and the PW regulator bolts) and replace the wire from the dashboard switch to the window and you could add a flexible ground strap from window regulator through the bottom of the door to the frame.

Open the door and grab that "accordion style " boot and wiggle it while pushing window switch. If the window starts working, you have a wiring problem somewhere in that area. If not you may have a bad switch.

Yes you can you need to pull the carpet back just under the latch in the rear endgate there is an axess hole there . If you take a screw driver put it in the hole and slide the latch lever to the right the window will relese .Did you cheek the batterys in your remote button this is likely the problem . If not there is a main acuator for the doors but the endgate has its owen . So thats why i say chack the batterys there is two of them in the key chain and you can open it with a dime look at your service manual in the glove box for more information
