I have an EOS VW 2009 and it had 5 window switches in the driver side door to the front windows and back windows and a switch to push all four windows down/up at the same time. But right now my passenger...

Hi Kimberli,

I suspect that since all windows can be powered up and down, you have issues with I believe 2 specific switches you mentioned that have problems - as a result of possible rain water, melting snow / ice or spillage of beverages. You might be able to clean them up - or replace the ones that are "flaky"

Good luck!

2001 Buick Lesabre windows roll up but not down.

This problem is very likely caused by the drivers side power window switch being defective, I have seen this very same problem in the shop more than once and the new master switch fixed it. here is the part number and price from www.Rockauto.com
AIRTEX Part # 1S3874-Left front Power Window Switch. Price $105.79

I rolled all my windows down and then rolled them all back up but my front passenger window wont roll back up

It should roll up with assistance. Try helping it by GENTLY pulling up while holding the window switch. You may have to do this a couple times to get it all the way up. The problem is the window motor has gotten weak or lost power completely. The motor is a relatively easy part to get, but replacing it is very tough and unless you have done it before, or know what your doing I wouldn't suggest it ( it is possible though ). Hope it helps!

Front windows don't roll down

Yes, the power window switch is often faulty, because there is some sensitive electronic making that "auto rolled down". The 4x-switch is quite expensive, 260EUR =( So, I make some new connection. The faulty electronic is only for front windows, so now I connect wires so that I can use front windows with read window switch. (Rear windows is still working by those 2xback window switch) which is located between seats. Here is the conncection, at one's own risk. That 4x-window switch has 14-pins connector: Connect the back windows wires 8(blue/white), 9(red/black), 1 (grey/blac ), 2 t(green/white) to the ground wire 4 (black). Front windows wires 14(blue)->8 13(white)->9 3(white/violet)->2 7(black/blue)->1 If the manufacturer didn't use that "auto rolled down" function, there is no worries of power windows. Also illumination of 4x-switch goes down quite soon, leds will be better. Power windows

First off does the window switch on the passenger side? if it does then you may just need the drivers side window switch. The front and the back windows work seperate from each other.

Driver's window

I have the same problem, its more than likely a sticking motor. I just punch the door panel below the window switch (where the motor is) and it works. You may have to bang it a few times but i have to do it about once a week on the front right or my car.

Fuse box diagram

it can't possibly be a fuse if your front windows are working.
i also have a 94 taurus and this same thing has occured, the L-R window won't move at all. but all of my other windows work. it is probably a bad window motor. I've heard a lot about 94's having this problem. take it to the dealer and see if they have any Technical Service Bulletins about this.

Passenger side front and back window not working.

Once those cables break, the window regulator is history.
Cheapest way is junkyard regulators.
