Check the fuel pressure and make sure there's enough pressure for the regulator to open the injectors. You check fuel pressure by hooking a fuel pressure tester up to the fuel line. Low pressure=bad fuel pump. Hope this helps.

2004 nissan turn over but wont start. replace fuel pump and still got the same result

could be a problem with engine electrical or still with fuel delivery. unhook a fuel injector line while it cranks and see if it shoots out spurts gas, just as the fuel pump line is supposed to shoot out a stream of gas while cranking. if you replaced the fuel pump, and no gas shoots out the disconnected fuel pump line, there is an electrical problem, (fuse, relay or wiring issue) to your new fuel pump. if the gas spurts out the loose injector line, then move on to electrical:

first ensure your ignition coil has spark by disconnecting the coil ouput lead and shorting it out to the chassis of the car. you should see a spark, when you short that circuit while cranking. if you have spark, you will have to move on to the spark plugs/ cables, then the distributor cap/coil packs.

if its part of the electrical system, it will be sensitive to temperature/humidity, and that may be why it only fails to start early in the morning. if it were the fuel injector, it would be more likely to start cold, and NOT re-start after it had already been warmed up and cut off recently.

I have a 1987 ford ranger the engine turns over but it wont start

Spark at plugs? Fuel filter? Pressure on injector delivery line? Pressure relief valve? You may be able to measure fuel pressure at the pressure relief valve location. and return line. If you have spark, I'd say it's a fuel supply problem

Why my 2005 ba ford falcon wont start?

Its either no spark or no gas. Remove the fuel line and carefully crank it over..are you getting any fuel? If not possibly clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump. If yes, are the spark plugs firing. Remove number one plug lead hold close to any metal surface on engine, crank over ..spark there..strong or weak spark? No spark check coil and associated parts.

Gas was put in tank ,we are draining tank, was only run about 500 feet, what should we do to make sure engine is flushed

Disconnect your fuel line from the Fuel tank, take off the fuel filter and allow it to drain. Renew fuel filter and fill filter cup with diesel. Open line going to the injectors from the filter cup and allow to drain. Turn on the ignition while the line is disconnected and allow the pump to flow clearing any residual gas, do not crank the engine. With the fuel line disconnected from the injector, remove the glow plug relay. Crank the engine several times for 10-15 seconds at a time to cycle the fuel through without spark. Re-connect the fuel lines and replace the relay. Make sure that you have primed your fuel system as if you had ran out of fuel which by this point it already should be. Start the engine and run for 5 seconds, shut off, repeat this start cycle several times and you should be good.

I have a 1997 Tahoe 5.7L 4 door model that ran fine all day. Next morning it wouldnt start. It will try to turn over but wont crank. The fuel pump does engage, filter is clean. Fuel flow goes to injectors...

Well, first off you need to make sure you are getting spark to the spark plugs first.Get some insulated pliers and pull off a spark plug wire, hold it next to the frame or exhaust and have someone spin the engine over. You should see spark jumping between the plug and the ground. If you do not, then you have an ignition problem. If you can spray fuel in the intake and it wont even try to start, then it sounds like you have an igniton problem.Verify that before going too far with the fuel system. If you have spark, then it may be your ECM could be fried and is not letting the fuel injectors open but it should still try and start if you are spraying fuel directly into the air intake.IF it has spark.

Good fuel preasure, good spark, good compreation, no start, sparkplugs soaked with fuel.

check for a very dirty or clogged air filter, faulty Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor (or Manifold Air Flow sensor), disconnected or faulty Engine Coolant Temp sensor, disconnected or faulty Intake Air Temp sensor, and leaking fuel injectors or a stuck open cold start fuel injector. A pinched or blocked fuel return line from the fuel pressure regulator to the tank is rare but could also be a cause.

I just changed the fuel pump, crank senser, dist. cap, plugs and wires , coil, and button and it still wont start

This is a pretty broad question. Sometimes throwing parts at a problem works, sometimes not.

Engines need 4 things to run: fuel, air, compression, and ignition.
Fuel: Need to test that line pressure is within spec, injectors are working (resistance is usually 12-14 ohms)
Air: Check for proper vacuum, air filter, air path
Compression: usually does not need checked, but if there is oil in the coolant, coolant in the oil, or oil in the intake or exhaust I would check this
Ignition: simple spark test

1994 chevy suburban, no fuel coming from fuel

Put an injector noid light at the injector plug terminals to see if your getting a signal from the PCM(computer). If not try to find a computer from the same vehicle that works and swap it into yours to check.A PCM swap will take about 15minutes.
