Hi, I have a ford escort ghia 1990, my battery died and I don't have my radio code. The serial number is M156702, model 5000 RDS. I would really appreciate it if anyone knows the code, I miss my music! Thank you

hi, if your radio code for example is 8156 you push the no1 button 8 times then no2 button 1 times then no3 button 5 times then no4 button 6 times then hold down the number 6 button for about 5 seconds and the radio code will store automatacly and start up. hope this helps you regards
There is a little utility/tool that is on the internet (can be found with a bit of searching). You put your serial no. in and it gives you the correct code. I have tested on three of my own units and correct code each time, as per the issued radio passport. I will not say where on internet, as I agree with what "emissionwiz" stated about how do we know radio not result of illegal activities.
