Question about 1999 Honda Passport

99' Honda Passport driver side wiper stopped working

I was driving my 1999 Honda Passport in rain, when I heard a loud pop under hood, then the drivers side wiper stopped working. Is the blade motor driven or cable driven? Did the cable just came off the track? When I turn it on now, the passenger side works fine but the drivers side has some slight movement and makes a kind of grinding noise, but does not sweep.

The main motor is on the passenger side. there is a link between the to that operates the driver side wiper. the link has to be replaced.. what i am finding is that you have to buy the whole wiper kit which is approx.70 dollars instead of just buying the link or gromet.

Check to see if you can see or hear the rear wiper motor running.
If the motor is running you can tighten the bolt, look under the wiper arm pivot point .
If the motor in not running, look under the dash on the drivers side for a blown fuse or bad wiper motor relay.
Hope this helps.

I have a 2003 Chevy cavalier and the wiper blades don't move but I see and hear the motor turning. What could be wrong with it and how can I fix it myself.

Take the wiper arm and try to move it if it's easy to move then ....we call it the transmission between wiper arm and motor itself. little teeths are gone wiper arm side or transmission

or transmission arms are disconnected

hope it help

99 accord, wipers not working but wiper motor is running

Pop off the plastic cover under your windshield that runs the length of your hood. Sounds like your wiper linkage popped off of your wiper motor. These are plastic ball joints. Or if you or a previous owner popped your wiper arms off, they might have stripped because they are aluminum.

The windshield wipe on the drivers side stoped working.

The locking nut holding the arm to the wiper assembly has come loose, look under the plastic cap at the bottom of the wiper arm. Or the connecting rod from the motor has come off. Hope this helps...

Hi, I drive a 2004 focus. This morning coming into work out of nowhere i heard a pop and the wipers stopped working. completely. and as i drove on (in the rain) i started hearing like a sliding noise from...

Check the fuse box located underneath the drivers side steering wheel. Flip the fuse box cover lid cover and there will be a diagram. Locate the "Wiper" fuse on the diagram and replace it with the same number fuse. Look underneath your vehicle for any evidence of broken plastic or possibly your CV axle has broken. Check your oil and transmission fluid and make sure they are topped off. Look for any liquid leaking at the bottom of your car.

Where is the fuel filter located on a 1999 honda passport

I am guessing here, I think it is on the frame under the rear door on the driver's side. It is just a small canister. I have the same truck, and if it wasn't pouring rain outside right now I would check for you, but I did change mine once, check it out.

Passenger windshield wiper does not work, driver side does work. wiper blade frame or wiper motor?

Most likely it is the linkage between the driver and passenger blade arms. The easiest way to find out is to remove the cowling and should see the wiper motor, the motor arm that links to the driver arm and the linkage between the driver arm and passenger arm...this is held together by a plastic clip and that clip is most likely going to be broken when you's fairly easy to replace.
