Question about 2007 Pontiac G5 Gt Coupe

Fuses So i posted a while back that my car wouldn't start after i jumped a buddies car... it turns out it was a fuse... i parked said vehicle last night and when i woke up this morning to start the car it did the same thing... instead of turning over it just didn't do anything... no click nothing... the dash lights didn't even dim.... if it is the fuse what could be causeing the fuse to blow and should i take it in and try to trade it in or just deal with it?

You have a loose wire causing a short to ground somewhere. If it isn't a fuse in the block, it is the fuseable link on the battery.

Last night I got pulled over and so I shut off my car. When I went to turn it back on NOTHING at all worked, the hazard lights and the key wouldn't even work. we jumped it and put a battery charger on...

Hello, First, you will need to charge the Battery and have it load tested. The charging system on your vehicle may be bad. Depending on the Year and Model, there is sometimes an inline fuse from the Alternator to the main wiring.

On some Models, the Alternator wires drape over metal lines and brackets and wear through and short the system. Just gently lift up on those wires leading from the Alternator and watch for bare wire. If you come across a fuse, check it.

Ford systems are very sensitive to low battery Voltage. While the system uses a 12 Volt battery, the top charge is somewhere between 13.2Volts- 13.6Volts. As you can see, that is over a 10% higher charge to have all systems working perfectly.

When a Ford detects lower Voltage, the Antitheft system and the Powersaver systems can cause both starting and charging problems. The vehicles may indicate a charge for 5 minutes or more after removing an outside jump, then cut off the circuit (2004 till?).

Autozone, Advance, and Oreillys give FREE scans and charging system tests. You can carry in the battery for tests. Once a topped off battery is installed, you should have the Alternator tested. Even if a new battery solves your starting problems, get the charging system checked.

2003 Chevy S10 won't start

Are you sure its the starter? did you try it in neutral? could be park neutral switch, or ignition switch, or if its a standard shift maybe it has a switch on clutch that it has to be depressed to start and its bad. As far as jump starting you cross the maine or big post on starter to small or little post on starter to do that, on a v6 starter it on the right side under exhaust manafold, and i think its on the same side on a 4 cyl.

It's probably one of these:

1.NSS- (Neutral Safety Switch)
2.CPS- (Crankshaft Position Sensor)

**Look here-
CPS 1/2 way down..
