No Dash or rear running lights

I have no dash lights or rear running lights... my brakes and headlamps are fine. It had no manual - bought it used. Any way of telling what 'fuse' it might be if that it? Or other suggestions...

You have multiple probs. Dash lights are powered off Headlamp switch, which sounds bad. Brake lights are operated off brake light switch which is just above your brake pedal under dash. Sounds like brake light and head light switch both need to be replaced.

Is this both the high beams and low beams that do not work ?

If you checked all 3 fuses with a meter ( with the headlamp in Low position for both low beam fuses or in high for the high beam fuse ), the next items to test are the MFS ( MultiFunction Switch ) and the main headlamp switch ( test not look at it ).

Probably a stupid question, but does the car start? Have you checked the battery for proper voltage? (and charge rate). Other than that, I'd suspect a poor ground somewhere causing excessive resistance & draw on that system.(headlamps draw far more than dash lights so power is used up there first)

Tail lights and dash lights

You'll have to read through your owners manual. For some time Auto makers have been putting your taillights on the same fuse as your dash lights as an automatic indicator that they are out. I would read through your owners manual and decided where and what fuse will supply power to the taillights and dash lights. If indeed all fuses in connection with the dash lights are good I would suspect the automatic starter.
