1996 Blazer not starting

Pump has 60 PSI new spider injectors and a new battery. Put new spark plugs in checked spark and it's there but plugs are dry. It nay try every 20 times trying to start, Next I will check the pulse to the injectors and from what I have read if you have spark the crank sensor is good. I will also check the cam sensor as soon as I figure out how. Any help would be great. Thanks Stan

Disconnect the connector for the fue injector on the left side front of the intake plenemn there are two wires on red one blue these are your fue injector wires, check for power on one wire with the key ON One has power with the key ON, and then take the test light connect one end on one of the wires coming out of the harness NOT the plenem and the other end of the testlight to the other wire in the same connector don't let them touch togother! sue a paperclip or cotterpin to let you connect the clip of the testlight to the connector.crank and you should see the light blink( I just want to narrow down the possibilities) If you see the light blink Good. Then make sure the PINK wire wire going going in the module has 12V KEY ON and also check the two wires inside the distributor that come from the pick-up unit make sure they are not broke the distributor pick-up unit failes commonly, its easier and less expensive to just get a used distributor that works and be done with it.

2001 chevy blazer Lt 2w Drive 4.3 No Start Condition

Make sure the battery has a full charge.

Are you missing anything besides fuel? Engine cranking visually check for spark at the spark plugs. Also, check for fuel injector pulse. If your missing everything, check for an rpm signal.

With the spider fuel system, start-up fuel pressure can be critical, around 60--66 psi. At the fuel pump connector, engine cranking, gray wire is voltage, black is ground. If good voltage and ground with no fuel pump action, have to suspect the fuel pump.

2000 Chevy Blazer turns over but doesn't start.

I had this problem with my Durango.. everything you checked was good on mine but it would just turn over and not start. I towed it to a mechanic and it ended up being the cam shaft and crank sensors. Hope this helps

Well ,it is a 2000 chevy blazer 2 door, i put a new fuel pump, and fuel filter, and it still will not start,if you put gas in the carburradtor it will start for a second then it dies, what could be the

Did you verify that you have proper fuel pressure? Should be around 60 PSI. If pressure is low, ensure that fuel filter is not installed backwards. If fuel pressure is OK, check your injectors with a noid light to see if you have injector pulse. If the truck starts with gas poured into the intake, it is NOT the spark plugs causing the problem. You are chasing a fuel delivery issue, NOT a spark issue.

My 2002 Chevy Blazer won't start?

If you replaced the injector after the plugsthey may be fuel fouled.Pull the plugs and clean them.(you can sandblast them,or use a method I used to use-shoot a little starting fluid on them and use a lighter to burn off the contamination of too much fuel).I can't believe GM kept using this stupid design so long-I remember nearly new Vortec V6s with this same problem in the '90s.

96 blazer starts but dies when put in drive

Check your fuel pressure it should be 60-66 psi with key and engine off. These engines need at least 52 psi to open the popet valve inthe injectors to allow fuel thru.If you don't have 52 psi then replace the fuel pump and filter.

Got a 1996 serria 1/2 ton. I changed the plugs and plug wires, they have spark. I put in new fuel filter, and I also checked to see if the plugs for spark, which they do. It will crank but wont start. What...

check your fuel pressure if it has the 5.0 or the 5.7 the fuel pressure should be 60-66 psi.The fuel injectors on these motors need at least 52 psi before it can open the popet valve inside the injector to allow fuel thru.So if you have anything less than 52psi you will need to replace the fuel pump.

I have to spray starter fluid in the intake to start my blazer

that indicates you have a fuel supply problem. a plugged fuel filter, or a fuel pump thats loosing its pressure. usually when you put starting fluid in throttle body. and it starts. thats a fuel problem.

95 s10 4.3 blazer new fuel injectors(spider) 2 new fuel pumps new filter was getting 50/60 psi on guage but had to start with starting fluid...now only getting 10/20 psi changed fuel pump...

Problem is usually caused by the regulator in the spider head. It may not be installed correctly, not getting enough vacuum from the intake upper manifold or is failing. Start by checking the vacuum at the manifold.

My 93 blazer wont run? i can put my hand on the upper intake and it starts then it dies instantly.the fuel pump checked out ok. the engine is a 4.3 liter

There is a injector spider under the intake, this,or the fuel pressure regulator could be the problem,so you might just check this out.
