Roll up a towel and put it between the pillar and the door, push against it to bend the door she’ll back. Trial and error until it will close again. Also a floor jack on the rear corner of the door with a block of wood wrapped in a towel can be used to adjust it up if necessary to hit the stricker properly. The door has to be held while jacking it. The hindges are welded on to the pillar...any other types of adjustment would be beond most shade tree mechanics ability. An 03 Blazer is not worth the cost to have a shop repair it. You can do this with a little common sense, trial and error, and this approach. Good luck.

Oh is the "A" Frame OK, also the door frame where the hinges are your looking for damage distortion creases etc.
As the body guys say a dent is fixed by reversing how it happened, so to me this will be a body shop job. Ask a friend in the know to have a quick look see.

SOURCE: Driver door is all messed up

The hinge is possibly sprung where it attaches to the body. If it is welded to the body, a body shop will have to fix it. Sometimes you can shim behind the hinge if it is bolted to the body, but, usually not successful.

SOURCE: front driver door wont close on 97 blazer

Make sure the latch hasn't already dropped into the locked positon. If it has pull on the door handle and raise up the latch.

SOURCE: door rubbing on front fender when opening and

At first check if the door hanger's are OK. This item is the first that quit his job on most SUV's and cars. Open your door to half, then try to lift the door up. If that happens, change the door hanger incl. 2 metal rings(one on top, one at the bottom) this part cost only some bucks. If you need to adjust the door, there are 2 screws on the body, this let the door slips front/rear, and -if your car is equipped with - there are 2 screws at the door, that let the door swing up and down. If it rubbs on the fender, take the doors backwards for only 2mm.

SOURCE: DS door is rubbing on front fender when opening

it is easier to to adjust the fender cause if you move the door it could cause you a huge headache tring to get it to line up at the latch and you could cause numorous wind noises and air leaks.

Base 2009 Pontiac Vibe hatch started closing incompletely unless I slammed it, then incompletely when I did slam it, now won't shut at all.

You will be needing to find a helpful body shop and ask them to either adjust your hinges and latches, or, replace parts that are broken.
God bless your efforts.

How do you adjust window angle 1999 Camry for better seal

you would need to remove the inner door panel. Loosen the bolts that hold the window regulator in place. Look for any slotted holes with the loosened bolt heads--those are your adjustment holes. Manually tip the window forward, noticing which bolts move and tighten accordingly.

How do i fix my car door on my 2001 blazer

If the latch is ok and fully latching the door shut then you may need to adjust the door and or replace the door edge gasket. Door adjustment is best left to a body shop or other repair shop like a dealer. The gasket on most GM is held on by plastic snap in clips and easy to replace.

The driver side door on my 2002 chevy blazer wont close.how do i fix it?

Door pins are a common failure on that series of Blazer/S10's. Also, another point of contention that the door faces is a sticky latch. Basically, the door latch re-latches itself and when you shut the door into the catch, it slams into it and bounces off. An easy fix is a 3 part cocktail of brake parts cleaner. Open and shut the latch with a screw driver acting as the catch and your interior door handle a few times. P'Blaster, open and shut the door a few times with the screwdriver acting as the catch. Finally, a good shot of white lithium grease. Open and shut the door with a screwdriver as the catch several times. Once you feel it is un-stuck, actually close and open the door several times. If you notice the door rising every time it catches, you MUST replace the door pins (cheap fix). If the door still has issues, replace the door latch (and since you're in there, do some PM and replace the actuator as well).

Are you talking about the vertical gap? The room between the rear of the front door and the front of the back door? Has this car been in a wreck? I've fixed some leaks by sitting inside the car while someone sprayed water around the door so I could see where it was coming in. Make sure all of the seals and door jambs are dry before you start. This way you can see the path the water takes to the inside of the car. Once you find the leak, it will be easier to fix instead of just guessing or trying to replace everything. If possible, could you take a picture of the gaps you are talking about?

0n my 02 trailblazer the pass door catches slightly on the front quarter panel. no damage has been done to Vehicle, any clues?

try placing a piece of wood in between the door jamb and pressing on the door with just a little force, this should open the gap just enough to give you the clearance you need to stop it from catching. A lot of panel shops do this to line up panels when they need just a small adjustment hope this helps

First chk the seals and see if there is a gap. If there is, you may have to ajust the hinges. Loosen the hinge bolts and. Do not remove them . Leave them loose enough to push the top in with the windoe down and latched. Then push the wind inward. Then carefully open the window and tighten two bolts on each hinge. Then ck the closing and alighment. If still needs more then repeat process but leave the bolts a litlle more snug so when you move it, it will stay untill you get the bolts tight. Good Luck, -Ned-

Wind noise from front window

Sounds like possibly either the door frame or the window is not sealing fully.
Visually check the door seal, and window seals.
Check door sealing by putting a strip of paper in gap and closing door.
Slide out strip, if no resistance found then there is a gap, which can give you noise.
To cure this put your knee behind the door as you close it, and pull in on the top of the door frame, then recheck with the paper till it grips.
Good Luck !
