THE MAP SENSER IS VERY EASY!!!!!
Its on the top of the BLACK PLASTIC going to your air filter..IT will be 2 inches by 3 inches with 1 plug and 3-4 screws holding it depending on engine size...VERY EASY GIG....Make sure when you remove it to get the hole cleaned out sometimes the old map sensor breaks the plastic off...

How do you find and replace the pcv valve on a 1996 Buick Park Avenue?

3.8 liter non super charged.

Remove the plastic cover over the top of the engine. on the passenger side of the intake plenum there is a senor (MAP Sensor). That sensor mounts to the top of the PCV cover. Remove the MAP sensor. Remove the cover and the PCV valve will be underneath.

Bad map sensor

Do you mean MAF sensor ? If so It's usually between the air box and inlet manifold.
Look at the air box to see if any wires go there......That should be the MAF sensor.
You can buy MAF sensor cleaner from autoparts stores,Comes in a can like CRC(WD40).
Hope this helps.

Map sensor location

It should be on the firewall behind the engine or on the bracket above the rear valvecover. it has a three wire green connector going into it and two 7mm screws attatching it.
