Code 12 in fact is NOTHING... Is the START OF THE DIAGNOSTIC.
You can see the code 12 as normal, because when code 12 is showed, is MODE DIAGNOSTIC ON.

If you have another code after 12, THIS IS a real fault code.

But if only code 12 is showed, no faults codes exists!.

The procedure is:

- Shortcircuit A + B in ECU
- Turn ON key (but not start engine)
- If there is a fault, the fault code is showed AFTER the code 12... and then repeat in a loop.

Example: If code 34 (Low voltage MAP) exists, the secuence will be:

1,2,PAUSE, 3,4, PAUSE... 1,2,PAUSE,3,4,PAUSE... in a eternal loop.

Trying to find out which pins to cross for engine codes and the location on 1995 isuzu pickup

Hello ipontrees40: My name is Roger and I will help with your answer. Locate the ECM on the left kick panel. There will be a lead of wires that has 3 leads hanging. Connect the white and black wires together. Turn the key on and observe the check engine light. Should flash i sequeince of 12, will flash once pause followed by two quick flashes. This is code 12. Any codes after the 12 will be stored codes. Be sure not to start the engine when checking the codes. Should you start the engine you may not receive the correct information. The codes will be read as slow flash followed by a long pause followed by quick flashes. For examle a code 42 would be 4 slow flashes followed by 2 quick flashes. After the computer has read all storer codes it will go back to code 12. After you repair the problem you can clear the codes by either removing the negative battery cable or #3 fuse for ten seconds. Remember just because there is a code does not mean that part is bad. You need to follow basic trouble shooting to make a propper repair. Just replacing parts becomes expensive. I attatched a picture of the jumper wires to the computer to help in identifying them .
Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Rogerrogerf1_52.jpg

I have check engine error codes 11, 12 on my 95 grand cherokee limited the engine wont start just keeps turning over

Code 11 means no distributor reference signal detected during cranking. Check the circuit between the Distributor and PCM (computer). Also, keep in mind the following operations/tests apply to these relays only: Automatic Shutdown (ASD) , Fuel Pump and Ballast Bypass. For operations/tests on all other relays refer to the appropriate test.

The relay terminal numbers can be found on the bottom of the relay.
Terminal number 30 is connected to battery voltage and can be switched or B + (hot) at all times.
Terminal number 87A is connected (a circuit is formed) to terminal 30 in the de-energized (normally OFF) position.
Terminal number 87 is connected (a circuit is formed) to terminal 30 in the energized (ON) position. Terminal number 87 then supplies battery voltage to the component being operated.
Terminal number 86 is connected to a switched power source.
Terminal number 85 is grounded by the Engine Controller.

Remove relay before testing.
Using an ohmmeter, perform a resistance test between terminals 85 and 86. Resistance value (ohms) should be 75 ±5 ohms for resistor equipped relays.
Connect the ohmmeter between terminals number 87A and 30. Continuity should be present at this time.
Connect the ohmmeter between terminals number 87 and 30. Continuity should not be present at this time.
Use a set of jumper wires (16 gauge or smaller). Connect one jumper wire between terminal number 85 (on the relay) to the ground side (-) of a 12 Volt power source.
Attach the other jumper wire to the positive side (+) of a 12V power source. Do not connect the jumper wire to relay at this time.

CAUTION: Do not allow the ohmmeter to contact terminals 85 or 86 during these tests. Damage to ohmmeter may result.

Attach the other jumper wire (12V +) to terminal number 86. This will activate the relay. Continuity should now be present between terminals number 87 and 30. Continuity should not be present between terminals number 87A and 30.
Disconnect jumper wires from relay and 12 Volt power source.

If continuity or resistance tests did not pass replace relay. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and connector are located in the engine compartment, mounted to the inner fender, next to the air cleaner housing (click image fo zoom).
DTC 11 - No reference signal during engine cranking. No camshaft reference signal was detected during engine cranking.
DTC 12 - Battery disconnect. Battery input to PCM disconnected during last 50 key starts.
DTC 42 - ASD relay control circuit. An open or shorted condition detected in the auto shut down relay circuit.

Hope helps.

How can i adjust my daewoo racer idling

did you mean racing idle or high idle. if it is idling high then it has a vacuum leak. probably a hose under the intake tube going into your throttle body. If you dont inderstand what i am talking about you should take it to a mechanic. take a can of wd 40 or brake cleaner and spray around the components that have tubes or incoming air. when you pass over the leaking area the engine will bogg down. keep inspecting until you see the torn or cracked component.

Need to apply high RPM in order to move my car

Hi ROn, I have the same car a GTI. It could be two problems with a manual Racer. It could be that your gear shift link is missing or worn and it is causing you to not be able to select the proper gear. Another problem could be that your plug wires are dead and not conducting enough current to the engine causing you to lose power. Check it out!

My daewoo racer eti 95 model, while driven i had experience that the engine stop 2 time, the i had restart its ok it starts, upon continuing driving about 15 kilometers travel the engine stop, when i starts...

You don't say what you are doing when the engine stalls. Are you stopped in traffic? Maybe the idle adjustment is too low. Maybe you have bad gasoline. No fire in the high tension cable means no spark? But the car would never run without firing. Maybe one spark plug is fouled, and you're running on three cylinders some of the time. Then you would notice a power loss from the engine, too.
