Hyunday accent ac does not work - 2002 Hyundai Accent

Sounds like something let go inside the engine, have a shop inspect it.

I would have the computer scanned for trouble codes first. The codes will point you in the direction of the problem to troubleshoot.

whining sound indicates to me that it would be a wheel bearing

Whats the problem with it? does the door open? if its just simply snapped off then you will need to remove the internal door trim, its quite easy once you have that off you can see the back of the handle should have 2 small nuts/bolts on it remove then and unhook it from the connecting rod, then replace in reverse order.
