Question about 1998 Chevrolet Suburban
I just bought a 1998 4wd K1500 diesel suburban. The vehicle runs great accept I can not engage the 4wd. When I push the 4Hi button the light comes on but the front wheels do not engage. When I push the 4 Lo the 4Hi light stays on and the 4Lo light flashes. Still no engagment of the front wheels. If I push the Auto4 and the 4Lo buttons the 4 Auto light is on and again the 4Lo light flashes. There is no grinding sounds or mechanical engaging. When I push the 4Hi button, light is on and when I drive in a cicle I feel resistence on the front end.
I do not have any formal instructions on how to properly engage the 4 WD... it would be nice.
