Question about 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII

Heater won't work

On my 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII, my heater only works when I am sitting idle at a stop sign, but when I pull away from the stop sign, the heater shuts off!

    correction you need to check the blower motor resistor, located on the engine compartment firewall. Haynes service manual #59010 on page 3-9 has a picture of what it looks like.

If I read your statement correctly, you are saying you are loosing fuel pressure after 4 hours.
Could be a problem with the check valve in the pump or one of the injectors is leaking into a cylinder.

there is a special tool designed for aerostar vans that will sometimes work on your car, check with a kragen or equivelant store to se if you can rent or borrow these tools. hope this helps.
